Nuncio says thousands killed in Congo clashes
Fighting between government and rebel forces in the Kasai region of the Democratic Republic of Congo has killed 3,000 people and closed or destroyed hundreds of Catholic institutions, according to a dossier circulated by the nuncio, Archbishop Luis Mariano Montemayor.
